Sunscreen kinetic typography

Everybody's free to wear sunscreen was an essay written as a hypothetical commencement speech by columnist Mary Schmich.  The essay gives advice on how to live a happier life and avoid common frustrations. in 1999 the Australian film director Baz Lurhmann turned the essay into a spoken word song. I have always found this speech particularly inspiring and chose to create a typographic animation for it that matches the beat and cadence of the song.
